All Things Weed: Happy 4/20!!!!
This month is a very special month for marijuana smokers all over the world. As April 20, 2018 approaches, I reflect back on my 35 years of using this miracle plant that has literally changed my life for the better. Back in the day, I struggled to acquire quality medicine, when I could find it. Now, in some states, there are multiple shops in every city. If you are 21 years old, you can shop and buy marijuana like a liquor store. I live in California part of the year, and I have my favorite shops that have the highest quality meds. Every now and again, you will find a marijuana festival going on. This March, I was fortunate enough to attend the Kushsstock festival, which was very fruitful. I found an amazing rig my Glass Mule, and I enjoyed the sweet Banana OG sauce from Nameless Genetics. The sweet elite flower and sauces of Black Leaf were amazing. The one product that I bought at Kushstock that just keeps standing out in my mind was my purchase of Peanut Butter Breath flower and Zion OG live resin from a grower in NoCal named Most High Farms.
My feature article highlights all of the wonderful things that Most High Farms has to offer. Let me begin from the beginning.
So I’m at Kushstock, its stoners heaven as far as festivals go, and there are many, many amazing growers that attend this festival. I was snaking my way around the giant white tent when I passed by Most High Farms booth. The words “organic” were on the signs. Since I’m a health-nut Cali girl, I think “I better try this! “ I am first lured in by the sweet resins. I inquired about a Forbidden Fruit resin, and it’s sold out. So I chose the Zion OG, and, of course, it smells delicious. Then I see my FAVORITE strain in the WHOLE WORLD!!! Peanut Butter Breath, the pantheon of all strains in my mind!!!!!!!! OMG, I was running low on money; the ATM limits how much it will dispense…. So I buy an eighth of an ounce. The sweetest most euphoric high from any flower!!! The difference that I found with Most High Farms flower and sauces was the quality of the smoke. The ash was almost non-existent. It was a clean hit with the flower that literally left no ash to snap the bowl at the end with. The dabbing was equally delightful. The vapor was smooth and I did not cough from the billow of smoke that was produced from my giant dab. The only regret I had was not buying more.
As I am on their website right now, the farm states on their home page, “Most High Farms is based in Northern California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We take a spiritual, natural, and holistic approach to farming.” They utilize what they like to call, “veganculture”; their growing process is free of bone meal, fish meal, and other animal products. Their attention to small details in the quality of their product makes them my special featured grower. When you try their product, you know they have put a lot of love, care, time and effort into every crop they cultivate. Their spiritual foundation makes them my favorite grower. I will seek them out at the October Kushstock, I pray they will be there.
