Spirituality 101 Report: The Path (Part 1)

In the quest for knowledge and purpose, one must find their path in life. Did you know that each person has a unique path that God has designed specifically for you? It is so unique and different that not one person will have the same path that you have. Last week’s article, Law of Attraction broached on the topic of “The Path”, but as we continue on the road to enlightenment, we must follow our own individual journey. Life can be tricky, and you don’t want to lose your way. Imagine in the physical world that you wanted to go from Los Angeles California to Boston, Massachusetts. If you were to map the journey out, you could get to your destination quite easily, but imagine if you did not have a map. How would you navigate your way? Maybe you would think about directionals, such as I need to travel north east to reach my destination, but it would be quite a guess, and it might take much longer than anticipated. Well the spiritual world is analogous to this in that you need to have a plan and you need to navigate carefully as to not get off your path.

When I was 25 years old, I got off my path. It was a distinct feeling of being lost. Wherever I went, I continually felt lost. I would search and search, but the peace that I once had in my youth was quickly replaced with anxiety and fear. I was fearful of my future, and I was right to fear. I was going down a dark path. The next two decades would prove to be very difficult, and I continued to complicate my life more during those dark days. I remember thinking back then that I needed help, but I did not know where to start, so I started from the beginning and retraced my steps. I looked back, which made me quite depressed because I had forgotten most of my past, so it was difficult to retrace. Once I looked back, I realized that I got off my path when I was offered a career in New York. I had been offered a modeling contract with specific bookings. I was offered Pantene commercials and face modeling commercial jobs that would been very lucrative, but my fear of going to New York with a five-year old proved too much, and by the time I came to my senses, it was too late, and the agent had moved on. The door to the future was firmly shut, and I spent the next 24 years looking to get back. Why did I deny myself the opportunity of a lifetime? Why did I deny myself the easy path that God had designed for me? Well, I didn’t know that was my path. I was never taught about your spiritual path and journey, and by the time I realized what had happened it was too late. In those 24 years, I got to know myself very well. I also found that in New York, I am a writer. I also discovered that New York was an essential part of my path because I found the fountain of healing. The past that had been wiped from my memory was found with clarity in New York through the magical healing powers of the Bethesda Fountain. The process took many trips to achieve total healing, but in the three years that I lived here, I was able to receive enough spiritual healing and I was able to find enough clarity to balance my chakras. My root chakra has been grounded and solidified through my connection with God, but the journey to the grounding required healing in Central Park. It was a magical time in my life that I will hold dear forever, but it is once time to move forward on my path. The future is bright in Miami, and, as I stated, I was blessed with a beautiful ocean view to inspire my writing and creativity. I will also be extremely blessed with a flooding of messages for the future that I will be imparting throughout this journey of enlightenment together.

What if you don’t know what your path is? … Or worse, what if you’ve gotten off your path? Do not worry! We will find our way together, and we will eventually have to walk through the flames and fire, but we will also do that together. In this light phase we are called to connect with one another to help each other. You may still wonder, how will I find my path? Or how will I find my way back? You first need to look at your gifts. The gifts God gave you that make you unique. The things that make you stand out and people notice. The satisfying feeling you get when you start looking at those gifts as pieces to a puzzle. These gifts can easily be found in the talents you possess, but they will also be found in those quiet moments when you start to listen to the spirit within. When the spirit and the physical body are in balance then we achieve full enlightenment. It takes a lifetime to achieve this level, and there is no time like the present to start. Today is the day to start the rest of your life. Will you join me in this movement of enlightenment and fulfillment?
